Military-Connected Youth Well-Being

The 2025 Academy addressed the critical issue of adolescent well-being. Academy learners explored the issues impacting adolescents in active-duty military families while identifying strategies and resources to better support youth. The Academy included a live interactive panel discussion and three interdisciplinary webinars led by military-connected youth experts.

This Year

Building Strong Communities for Military Family Readiness

Throughout August 2026, OneOp will host a 4-week professional development learning series designed to help service providers strengthen their capacity to support military families by enhancing community infrastructure and partnerships.

Communities can best support military families when they are collectively competent, that is, when infrastructure and resources are intentionally designed with military families in mind. This series builds the knowledge and skills needed for providers to collaborate across systems, leverage resources, and implement sustainable, community-based solutions. By encouraging people to share ideas, work together, and build partnerships, participants will learn useful strategies to create and maintain strong support networks that meet the many needs of service members and their families.
